Creating furniture inherently uses natural materials, and nowhere is this felt more than in timber usage.

As a business, we strive to offset the environmental impact our furniture creation has through a reforestation strategy.

We have partnered with a number of organisations to make this happen, and aim to be carbon positive in the near future.

Restore The Land

For every order we take $1 is donated to a charity of your choice, and we have chosen Restore the Land to be one of these charities.

They aim to restore 330,000 hectares of native trees in Australia by 2030.

Greenfleet

In partnership with Greenfleet, an environmental not-for-profit organisation, we have helped to plant a Milestone Forest.

Located on Dja Dja Wurrung Land as Ngulambarra (near Wedderburn in Central Victoria), we have contributed to an over 60 hectare forest that is legally protected for over 100 years, with over 20 plant species native to the region helping create a biodiverse and resilient forest.

Greenfleet have worked with the traditional owners of the area, the Djaara people, to ensure a diverse mix of plant species, influcing culturally significant food and fibre grasses. This helps restore the land while providing traditional food crops.

Trees 4 Trees

We're proud to contribute towards Trees 4 Trees, a non profit foundation focussed on renewing trees in forests around Indonesia.

All items from our Teak range purchased help support this cause, with a tree planted for every piece purchased.

This promotes good forestry practices and supports local communities in Indonesia, with seedlings of high value species distributed to local farmers free of charge.
